Clays Bar Games

Clays Bar – Interactive Shooting Gallery. This unique project could be called VR, AR or simply a digital installation piece. But its a truly innovative bar restaurant concept that Playerthree have been part of since its conception by the Clay’s team and continue to update and support the expanding number of sites with global potential.

Clays brings all the fun of clay target shooting out of the country into the heart of the City. Compete with friends and teams via interactive clay target action on huge 4K screens. Clay’s approached Playerthree in 2020 to become technical partners in developing a range of interactive shooting games, all driven by a player’s shooting accuracy with a try-weight clay pigeon shotgun.

As well as creating custom party games, Playerthree developed the graphic interface for the games as well as the booking system and player entry.

We modelled a 3D clay shooting environment in Unity that we could then refine for custom trap positions for each game. We’ve also produced seasonal variations for spring and winter as well as special night party events and tie-ins with major sporting events in the calendar such as tennis, halloween, football events.

We create regular updates for the team at Clays as they continue to expand and it was a challenging and rewarding project to work on with all the team at Clays, as well as the cool tracking tech development provided by Target3D and Imagination Factory.
