Bubbimals

We’ve released Bubbimals, our first little free app on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android. It’s a fun, cute little app aimed at a family audience that lets you pop bubbles and collect stars to unlock all of the alphabetical Bubbimals as well as an additional game mode called Juggle.

The app is free to download and play, and gamers can either collect and spend their bubbles and stars to unlock the Bubbimals, or they can bypass the process via in-app payments to unlock all the animals in one go, or unlock the juggle mode.

Having developed our C-based app, Apache Overkill for Miniclip earlier in the year and on PSP for Sony, we opted to develop the Bubbimals app in Unity3D to learn how quickly we could produce a complete game with in-app payments and achievements for the Apple App Store, but also be able to export to the Android Market and potentially web as well.
