KIA Eco-Drive

Playerthree has released KIA Eco-Drive open world experience in Roblox.

Working with MRM Germany and KIA Germany to conceptualise a free, exciting game experience for a young ‘future-target audience’,  KIA Eco-Drive is focused on building awareness of KIA electric cars and the company’s brand values for sustainability, renewables, recycling and green energy.

Players have a large and varied futuristic eco-island to explore, creating their own customised cars and taking part in daily and weekly challenges by driving and exploring in car and on foot throughout KIA’s eco-island.

As you earn more virtual coins, you can unlock more car skins, vfx boost trails, roof objects and aerial accessories whilst also giving your vehicle a unique paint job.  The experience initially allows players to use the KIA Niro EV before bringing in additional vehicles such as the EV6 and new EV9 models.  We created the whole island experience, vehicles and skins.

The eco-island features iconic adventure landscapes such as beach, desert, volcano, cliffs, waterfalls and lakes, with plenty of hidden secrets, ramps and rapid charge points around the island.  It also features:

• A ‘skate park’ style stunt arena
• An arcade style race track with loop the loop
• Sprint races around the island’s roads.

UPDATE** – Eco-Drive has now been played over 570,000 times as of Jan 2024. The island has been updated to to include a clothing store, K-Town centre where you can server customers in the Eco Diner and play the takeaway delivery driver game as well.
